As an Engineer with a BS degree with distinction from the renowned University of Buffalo Engineering program and a P.E. license in New York, Mr. Braun brings a unique background and diverse experience to the clients of AIC.

As President of AIC, Mr. Braun provides an integrated program of engineering consulting services in mechanical engineering, custom-engineering system design and program management services to manufacturers and service companies throughout the United States. Projects serving the industrial gas marketplace, Mr. Braun successfully completed the system design of a landfill gas purification and liquefaction system, as well as an equipment design of several cryogenic air separation facilities and currently serves as the engineering manager for an air compressor and purification company.  Other machinery and process related activities include equipment design of toxic waste facility, system designs and project management of several complex automated assembly machines and the design and project management of a component that currently is in use in the International Space Station.

As the Manager of Major Equipment Engineering at Praxair, Mr. Braun was responsible for the specification, evaluation, installation, commissioning, and problem solving of all major capital project equipment worldwide. Mr. Braun was responsible for personnel, technical and project administration, as well as new technology Research and Development programs. During this period, Mr. Braun pioneered innovative techniques for predictive maintenance on industrial  process equipment and developed procedures for remotely acquiring, storing and interpreting machinery operational data.

As an Engineering Supervisor with the Wastewater Treatment Engineering group of Union Carbide Corp., Mr. Braun was responsible for all engineering, design and construction of municipal wastewater treatment facilities.

As Senior Engineer with the Advanced Aerospace Structure department of Bell Aerospace Corp., Mr. Braun pioneered the development of mathematical techniques.  Mr. Braun designed aerospace hardware, wrote high level engineering computer programs, performed detailed analytical investigations and authored numerous reports as part of the space program.

Mr. Braun maintains memberships in the American Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and American Society of Quality.  He continues his Professional Education in management, technology, quality and computer systems with courses such as: Reengineering, Strategic Planning, Valve Analysis, Team Building, Benchmarking, Negotiating Skills, Conflict Management, Total Quality Management, and ISO 9000.
